Onbehalfofthescientificandlocalorganizingcommittees,Iampleasedtoinviteyoutoparticipateinthe13thInternationalSymposiumonNeuralTransplantationandRepair(INTR13)thatwilltakeplaceinBeijingInternationalConventionCenter,Beijing,China,September18-21,2015.TheCongresswillbehostedbyINTRCouncil,andorganizedbyCapitalMedicalUniversityandBeijingInstituteforBrainDisorders.

ThethemeoftheCongressis“TranslationalNeuralRepair-fromexperimentalstudiestoclinicaltrialsforthetreatmentofneurologicaldiseases”.TheCongresswilldealwiththemostrecentresearchonvariousaspectsofneuraltransplantationandrepairofneurologicaldisordersincludingParkinson’sdiseaseandAlzheimer’sdisease,andbringusupdateswithdevelopmentsinbothbasicscienceandtheirapplicationtoclinic.TheCongresswillprovideaplatformforalargefacultyofworld-widedistinguishedscientists,clinicianswithawiderangeofexpertisetoaddresskeyissuesinthistranslationalfield.Thescientificprogramwillbecomposedofplenarylectures,specialsymposia,andbothoralandposterplatformpresentations.Therewillalsobeaneducationalprogram,dealingwiththevariousaspectsofneurologicaldisorders.TheCongresswillcontinue“INTRtradition”encouragingthejuniormembersoftheresearchteamsincludingstudentsandpost-doctoralfellowsfromallovertheworldtoattendtheCongresswithtravelawards.
